Had the honor of sittin' in with you boys in Marion, Ill. on May 16th. What an honor it was to be able to play my B3 with ya'll! I wanted to throw some piano in too, in honor of Johnnie, but the sound crew disconnected me during the set change. Thank ya'll for the opportunity to play the whole set, and for making me feel like an old friend. Wish you all great success with "Meet Me In Bluesland" (great album!) and the tour this year! I saw the KHH last night at Sellersville Theatre about 50 minutes from Philly, and boy did they put on a great show! Played over 2 hours. Highlights for me was when Greg played slide on You Gotta Move, and the last 3 songs:Spirit In The Sky, Dumas Walker, and Davy Crockett. Just a great overall show with lots of insight on playing with Johnnie Johnson on both records. Great bunch of guys too they all came back out into the lobby, sat down and signed stuff and posed for pictures. They have a great crew travelling with them as well. Thank you guys for a memorable time and a fantastic concert. All the best!
